Ilmatar ja Seitsemän Sutta is the resulting exhibition from a residency organised by Les Pépinières pour Jeunes Artistes, the Jyväskylä Centre for Printmaking and the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.
The work made for this exhibition was based on 200 small etchings (12 x 12 cm). Some of the etchings were enlarged and painted on the walls while others (Characters based on the Kalevala and Aleksis Kivi's "Seven Brothers") were silkscreened on glass and mounted on mobile frames which could be moved around the space to create different dialogues with each other and the work on the walls.
